Join our 2025 Recreational T-Ball Baseball Program for kids aged 4-5 and experience the thrill of America's favorite pastime in a fun, supportive and skill-building environment. At Hammond Area Recreation District No. 1, we believe sports should be a positive and rewarding experience for every child, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship and lifelong friendships.

Program Details
- Location: Chappapeela Sports Park | 19325 Hipark Boulevard, Hammond, LA 70403
- Ages: 5-12 years old
- Season Dates
- T-ball & Transition (7-8): March 11th - May 22nd (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Practice Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (ages and times vary)
- Game Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (ages and times vary)

Our 2025 Recreational Baseball Program offers:
- Team Gear: Team Shirt and hat/visor to keep
- All-Star Game: End-of-season all-star game
- 10 Weeks of Practice and Games: Approximately 10 weeks of practice, regular season games, playoffs and all-star games (Transition-12 division)
- Full Concessions: Enjoy snacks and drinks at our concession stand
- Coaches Seminar and Background Checks: Our coaches are trained and background-checked to ensure a safe and supportive environment
- Certified Umpires: We work with certified umpires to ensure the best experience possible.

- Ensured Safety: Security Detail at all games + hydration stations at each dugout

Important Notes
- Player Max Request in Place: We try our best to honor requests within the cap limit.
- No Refund Policy: Please note that there are no refunds for our youth sports programs, no exceptions.
- Division Splits: Numbers permitting, most age divisions will be split into two divisions.
- Player Eligibility: All players must be recreation-level players; no travel ball players or teams are eligible to register.
